Basic training for 1-2 administrators from your organization is included in the price for BoardEffect®. If you are located in the greater Philadelphia, PA metropolitan area, you are welcome to come to our offices for the training; or we can provide training remotely through a live online session.

BoardEffect® is designed to be very user-friendly. You do not need to have any special technical knowledge to use BoardEffect®. The layout, navigation, and user interface have been fully tested and refined with novice users in mind.

There is no special hardware required to run BoardEffect®. Any computer connected to the Internet will do. There is no software to install to run BoardEffect® since it uses your existing web browser. BoardEffect® runs on all recent versions of Internet browsers, such as Internet Explorer 6.0, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari.

Yes, BoardEffect® synchronizes with most calendar software that uses "icalendar" files, including MS Outlook®.

Your BoardEffect® is setup within 48 hours of your request or purchase. We will then setup a convenient time to conduct the training session for your administrators.

Your BoardEffect® application is housed in a state of the art server facility. Data is stored in a fire-walled database using 1024 bit SSL (secure socket) encryption to protect any information sent between the server and web browser. The web server is built on Apache and uses the latest versions of OpenSSL (SSL security library). The server is monitored 24/7, including 24/7 port monitoring. In addition, each user is required to enter a unique password to access the BoardEffect® tool.

Documents of all types can be stored in your resources/elibrary. PowerPoint files, spreadsheets, word-processing documents, PDF's, audio and video files up to 1 GB. Additional storage space is available for a reasonable fee.
